Every Child Matters
The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30 opens the door to a global conversation about residential schools. It’s an opportunity to have a meaningful discussion about the effects of residential schools and the legacy they left behind. It’s a discussion all Canadians can participate in and create bridges with each other for reconciliation. It’s a day for survivors to reaffirm that they matter, and so do those that have been affected.
Generous donations from Credit Valley Conservation staff will be pooled and contributed to the Woodland Cultural Centre in support of residential school survivors and their families.
Please give today. Big or small, you gift will have an impact and will help contribute to the process of reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.
