Weekends and Holidays: Island Lake Electric Boat Rental
Electric Motor Aluminum Boat rentals are $60/ half day and $90/ maximum per day plus a $4.43 reservation fee. HST is added to all transactions. A $200 deposit is paid on site and is refundable pending return of all equipment in good condition.

Phone cancellations can be taken at 1-800-367-0890 up to reservation time and receive a full refund minus the reservation fee ($4.43 plus HST per boat). No refunds will be permitted for “no shows” or cancellation during or after reservation time.
Summer Booking Policy
Reservations available by phone at 1-800-367-0890 or online up to 24 hours in advance of the day of your booking. Same day reservations are not available.
Members receive a 15% discount on all rentals, and seniors receive a 20% discount on all rentals. One discount applied per person. The discount is not available online and will be refunded after membership/ senior status is provided onsite.
All watercraft rentals include:
- life jackets for each boater
- boating safety kit
- anchor with rope
- All boats come with 2 batteries and a 55lb thrust electric motor.

Weekends and Holidays: Morning – 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; Afternoon – 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (the afternoon start time below will say 1:30 p.m. as this is the suggested time to arrive at the park to sign the contract and be out on the water by 2:00 p.m.). Full day rentals apply to all rentals outside of these time restrictionsThings to Consider
If you are fishing at Island Lake and are between 18 and 64 a valid Ontario Fishing License is required. Visit www.ontario.ca/fishing for more information. No live bait is permitted (except worms) to be brought into Island Lake, minnows and worms are available onsite as the season permits.
You do not require a Pleasure Craft Operators card to rent a boat at Island Lake Conservation Area.
