Type: Medium tree
Moisture: Dry to slightly moist
Tolerances: Drought, salt, juglones
Description: Good windbreak and screening provides privacy around homes and protection for birds like owls and sparrows year-round. Bluish-grey berries provide food for birds like Cedar Waxwings.
Planting Notes: Do not plant near apple, crabapple, hawthorn, serviceberry, or roses due to cedar-rust diseases.

Terms and Conditions: There is a limit of 10 additional tree or shrub purchases per household for those who are eligible and have already ordered their free tree. Plantings will be scheduled for spring and fall. Our Home Planting Team will contact you to arrange delivery and planting. You must be home to assist and must have access to water at the time of delivery. By completing this purchase, you are committing to care for your new tree (care guides will be provided in an email).
